Lenovo ThinkStation E31 in Two Different Sizes?

Lenovo ThinkStation E31 PC desktop will soon be available in two different sizes- one being Small Form Factor and the other, Tower PC. Whatever be the size, configuration of both these systems seem more or less similar with notch or two differences.

Don’t get perplexed about the size of the computer, because both will have amazing features. It will come with either IntelXeon E3-1200 CPU or a range of Ivy Bridge processors, that will support 32GB RAM and will also be compatible with Windows 7, XP and even Windows 8 and Red Hat too. Imagine nine USB ports and four of them being the 3.0 variety. Isn’t it just wonderful!

Of course, TPC will have something more to it. Tower PC will accommodate 9TB of hard drive storage, whereas the smaller one will support 6TB hard drive storage.  Even the graphic upgrades will vary in the two models. Whether you are planning to buy the full-sized Tower PC or the Small Form one, you will have to shell out the same amount as both the systems start at $629. Well, we will have to wait a little more as both TPC and SFF are scheduled to hit the stores on June 5th and 13th respectively.

Interestingly, eco-friendly ThinkStation E31 claims to adhere to the best green practices and comply with the guidelines laid down by Energy Star, Plus Platinum, EPEAT Gold and Greenguard. Both the models also assure ninety-two percent efficient power supply.
