ANOTHER INTEL BASED PHONE

After Lava Xolo 900 it’s K800. Lenovo is all set to announce its Intel based phone, K800 in China. The smartphone will be the second phone to join the bandwagon of phones powered by Intel silicon.

The phone will comprise of 1.6GHz Atom processor, 400MHz graphics chip clock, 4.5 inch display (720x1280), and Android based Lenovo LeOS user interface for the Chinese market. Nonetheless, HDMI-out and NFC (near-field communication) along with Intel wireless display for video streams will make it one-of-its-kind. Interestingly, the smartphone will support HSPA+ and will run on China Unicom’s network.

This for sure is not the last in the league since Ornage, Motrola and ZTE are also geared up to launch their own Intel based smartphones. The global leader in chip manufacturing, Intel is all focused to redesign chips for small devices like smartphones. Seems there is a lot in store for the users.
