ANOTHER INTEL BASED PHONE



After Lava Xolo 900 it’s K800. Lenovo is all set to announce its Intel based phone, K800 in China. The smartphone will be the second phone to join the bandwagon of phones powered by Intel silicon. 

The phone will comprise of 1.6GHz Atom processor, 400MHz graphics chip clock, 4.5 inch display (720x1280), and Android based Lenovo LeOS user interface for the Chinese market. Nonetheless, HDMI-out and NFC (near-field communication) along with Intel wireless display for video streams will make it one-of-its-kind. Interestingly, the smartphone will support HSPA+ and will run on China Unicom’s network.

This for sure is not the last in the league since Ornage, Motrola and ZTE are also geared up to launch their own Intel based smartphones. The global leader in chip manufacturing, Intel is all focused to redesign chips for small devices like smartphones. Seems there is a lot in store for the users.

New Version of Android By Year End




The internet biggie Google is all set to launch a new version of Andriod operating system that will be called as Andriod 5.0 Jellybean. If the current versions Android 4.0 and 4.0 ICS got you hooked, this one for sure will steal all your attention. 

The latest version of the world’s largest mobile operating system, Android 4.0 is the most widely used OS. Android users have a reason to be excited for the Jellybean is being developed at a high pace and will be rolled out on market by this year end. However, an official announcement by Google is still awaited, that is most likely to happen the next month! 

A little is known about the features of Android 5.0 Jellybean. Whatever it be, certainly an upgrade is expected. It is expected to come with Chrome browser integration, enhanced security related features and improved battery life. Infact, a voice assistance feature may also be incorporated in the OS that will be very similar to SIRI of iOS.

Lenovo ThinkStation E31 in Two Different Sizes?



Lenovo ThinkStation E31 PC desktop will soon be available in two different sizes- one being Small Form Factor and the other, Tower PC. Whatever be the size, configuration of both these systems seem more or less similar with notch or two differences. 

Don’t get perplexed about the size of the computer, because both will have amazing features. It will come with either IntelXeon E3-1200 CPU or a range of Ivy Bridge processors, that will support 32GB RAM and will also be compatible with Windows 7, XP and even Windows 8 and Red Hat too. Imagine nine USB ports and four of them being the 3.0 variety. Isn’t it just wonderful!

Of course, TPC will have something more to it. Tower PC will accommodate 9TB of hard drive storage, whereas the smaller one will support 6TB hard drive storage.  Even the graphic upgrades will vary in the two models. Whether you are planning to buy the full-sized Tower PC or the Small Form one, you will have to shell out the same amount as both the systems start at $629. Well, we will have to wait a little more as both TPC and SFF are scheduled to hit the stores on June 5th and 13th respectively.  

Interestingly, eco-friendly ThinkStation E31 claims to adhere to the best green practices and comply with the guidelines laid down by Energy Star, Plus Platinum, EPEAT Gold and Greenguard. Both the models also assure ninety-two percent efficient power supply.

Facebook Launches An Application Store


Facebook has joined the bandwagon of the likes of Google, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon. The Social networking giant has launched its own App Center. With an abundance of applications, it was quite expected from Facebook to come up with its own application store. The developer’s preview is ready and the final outcome will be rolled out in a few weeks to come. 

Facebook has brought about a revolution in virtual social networking. It has been successful in establishing a connect with millions of its users, and nevertheless, has been constantly working to come up with engaging concepts. Certainly, expectations of users are too high. Facebook has claimed to have only quality-driven applications this time. There will be something for everybody. Apart from usual Facebook applications, the store will also have installable desktop and mobile software. Social apps will be far interesting and have a lot to offer to the users. Interestingly, mobile applications will be available in accord with the compatibility with devices.
