Samsung Puts An End To Nokia’s Reign

Ruling for over a decade now, Nokia has recently felt the jolt. Yes, Samsung has overtaken Nokia in the number of phones shipped. Since the Finnish giant had precedence over every other brand for so long now, beating it was thought as impossible for years. With the constant development and advancements, Samsung proved it yet again even in the arena of mobile phones. The news has sent waves throughout the telecommunication world and has stunned even the top-notch companies like Apple too.

According to a recent research, the Samsung’s mobile phone shipment is way more than Nokia’s. Samsung shipped 93m phones whereas Nokia shipped 83m in the first quarter of 2012. It is still being debated whether the number of sales is the maximum or not. However, the experts have agreed to Samsung being the largest maker of mobile phones.

Enough a reason for other brands to envy! And why not! The Korean giant has beaten the tough market competition and broken almost 14 year old monopoly of primarily an electronic mobile devices company. Advanced technology with amazing features and applications- mobile phones have changed the concept of conventional telecommunication. From being just a necessity, now the mobile phones are providing it all- entertainment, business, social life and just everything.

With the shift in the concept and the advent of smartphones, technology is trending- every now and then there is some other device being introduced with a tad different technicality or application. Samsung has launched a number of interesting smartphones that caught the attention of the world. Be it Samsung Galaxy, Wave or any other phone, the company has been successful in meeting the expectations of mobile phone users. Not only this, Samsung has also turned out to be the biggest Smartphone seller followed by none other than Apple.
